                                                                                      balletic
                                                                 bird

                                       brained 
                      northern

           light festooned

        with feather
         dusk chill turns

           beaks 
              mud

                   ward

                        feathers

                                 funnel
                                       following

                                                         the sun

                                                    under water

                                                                      somewhere

                                                                                           chatterlings of reed stalks

                                         into
