About the Workshop
Every environment suggests its own palette- indeed each piece of work we embark on requires us to make sophisticated decisions around colour and how we want to use it. This workshop will support anyone who would like to grow in confidence around colour mixing and ways of modifying colours to enhance and subdue.
A number of colour exercises and charts will emerge as well as a piece of work that speaks of the palette of Trafalgar Square as we find it on the 15th of April. The focus for the workshop is colour mixing and theory rather than picture making. We will work as a group to build resources that will support future development. By the end of the day all participants will understand relationships across their own palette, and will have experienced just how much can be gained with so little.
Please be sure you can work outside for an hour as it is an integral part of the day. Weather will play its part and can vary in nature.
This course is suitable for those with a small amount of experience in water based media.
