TERNS OVER CHISWELL, Portland, Dorset. The place where the Chesil shingle is the largest size and where it collides with the West Weare and Chesil Cove. Sun whites the wings against the storms. The terns nest a mile or so back along The Chesil beach in the shingle.

MURMURATION WITH PROCESSION OF CLOUD. Burton Mere, Cogden Nature Reserve. Half air, half earth.This is in Cogden Nature Reserve (a National Trust Nature Reserve) but it is the kind of half and half horizontality I grew up with in the East Anglian Fens.
