Highland

‘Each of the senses is a way in to what the mountain has to give’.
from The Living Mountain by Nan Shepherd.

Gallery of works in gouache, watercolour and local materials made on location in the North West Highlands of Scotland during the month of September. I have been renting a space to work for the last 4 years. Each year leaves a different ‘flavour’ to savour long afterwards: the sound of running water, the roaring of stags, fledging swallows and rainbows.
