MACKEREL MOON Acrylic and earth materials on unstretched canvas.

£1,900.00

MACKEREL MOON Sitting on the edge of the beach with Weymouth in the top right corner, the Chesil sweeps away and I wait for the moon to appear. I see the sky warm almost imperceptably before it eases into visibility.  I’m drawn awake by the energy of the full moon…the moment the moon begins to wane I can feel it.  I like to be present each month to the full moon.

CHESIL MOONS 2017. A slim publication containing words and images by me and a poem by Elisabeth Bletsoe. This was printed in association with Sladers Yard Gallery and is available to purchase from this site. The painting on the cover is one that marks a remarkable moonrise.

The image is glazed.  Raised on foamcore in a deep limed ash frame with acid free board backing.

Image size: 60x39cm Frame size: 88x56cm.

If this needs posting we will need to discuss the cost and options.
