November Dawn with Security Lights FRANCES HATCH
November Dawn with Security Lights. West Dean College. Gouache, acrylic and pigment. 29x40cm (unframed dimensions)

West Dean College: a celebration of a very personal relationship with the West Dean Estate. Relationship with the land on which West Dean sits has informed the site-responsive courses I have proposed to my students since I first was invited to teach in 1990. My role has changed over the years but my professional connection has been seamless.  Currently I am an Associate Lecturer on the Diploma in Art and Contemporary Crafts (DACC) and a Summer School tutor.
